Do you have staff in leadership roles in your school who would value the opportunity to enhance and further develop their leadership skills???

Here is a great professional development opportunity being offered to AIMHI and other schools for people who want to grow as leaders and add to their work with teams in their schools. The NZ Action Research and Review Centre based at Unitec is offering a Leadership Learning programme hosted by the AIMHI Centre.
Contents include:

• Team Development – Effective Teams: Effective Leadership
• Styles of Leadership – Review of Leadership
• Defensive and Productive Approaches to Leadership – giving Effective Feedback to Staff
• Action Research – Introduction to the action research process to be used in the project
• Collaborative and Change Management – Managing Change Collaboration
• Appraisal and Professional Development
• Motivating Staff
• Time and Stress Management – Work / Life Balance
• Action Research Component
